It's that lovely time of year again.. the cold brings in mice, especially because there is so much new construction around here. This is why I tell my kids about 100 times a day to ONLY eat in the kitchen. Obviously they didn't listen last night and trashhhhhhhhed my office! Gabriel our cat is having fun toying with this mouse and I am grossed out! I was talking to my mom on the phone while taping this little scene. Eventually I caught it and released it out on the street.. Gab is pretty frustrated by that and is still looking around for it. Good thing that our Pest People are scheduled to come in next week. uggh!!!

Glad you released it, poor little thing was probably terrified. Our cats never used to bring mice in. We only have one cat left now and is very elderly. We rarely see mice, but on the odd occasion we do, we always release them. Becky bought a humane trap because she gets quite a few. Then Dean takes them out into the country and lets them go.

We had some mice last fall and my cat had no idea what to do. I thought it would be a natural instinct for a cat to go after a mouse. Oh well. Glad you caught it.

That was a funny cat/mouse video. I have a rat terrier, and he won't even prick an ear for a mouse in the house...lol what good is he?? So, you took it outside, huh? I wonder what the chances are that he came back inside?

Hmmm, I'm not sure how I would feel about mice creeping around the house. I vision myself laying in bed at night, covers over my head, listening for the scratch scratch of little mice feet on the floor. Nope, that just wouldn't do! Bring on the cats!
