Not so Simple Rules

">    Last night was the funeral episode for 8 Simple Rules and we watched it.  Yes I bawled threw the whole thing.  It was very hard for me to watch and my husband even asked as it started if we should turn it.  As some of you may know John Ritter was also the voice for the PBS cartoon Clifferd The Big Red Dog, and my kids LOVE that show.  So when John died it was to me like Clifferd died too.  But aside from that the whole episode was dealing with a fathers death and that is something I know all to well and that is why it was so hard for me to watch. My father died just after I turned 18, about the same age as those girls on that show.  It wasnt sudden like John's death, we knew it was coming, and no we wasn't real close like the girls from that show seemed to be with thier dad, but still I know what the pain is like. I am not sure if I should say bravo or boo to ABC for choosing to keep the show with out John. It is a very funny show but some how dosnt seem right with out him.

If we learn anything from his death I hope that it is WE ARE NOT PROMISED TOMOROW, DEATH CAN COME ANYTIME, FOR IT IS APOINTED ONCE FOR MAN TO DIE AND THEN THE JUDGMENT. Do not put off to tomorow what should be done today!

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God

Sad that most ppl look at churches and religion and see the false, the lie, the ones on power trips. And because of this they can not get past it and get to the Truth and the heart of it all.  Clue, not all who claim to be Christians are.  Let's take the example of the wheat and the tares:  Mt 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?29But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Mt 13:38The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one 40As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.  I think this is the most sad vers in the whole Bible:

Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

You Know who I'm talking about

He loved me first, a love so deep that I still can not fully comprehend it.  I had longed for him all my life and when we finally met it was life changing. In his arms I have a life that is complete, and abundant, that is safe from all that I fear.  In his presence all I feel is his warmth, his name is like the scent after the rain. He gives me such joy, that it’s unspeakable.   Our love is so intense; he is all I can think about, all I can talk about, all I can dream about.  His Words run over and over in me.  He sends me the best love letters that anyone could ever read and I hang on each line. He gives me the most beautiful gifts and when ever I am in need all I have to do is ask him and he already knows what it is and is ready to provide. He knows me to my very core. I can never thank him enough for all he has done for me. He has made me the person I am today.  How it hurts when those would spit on his name, when they would make fun of our love, when they hate him because they do not understand.  All that I endure is well worth it for I know He loves me and I long for the day when we can be face to face at our wedding dinner. He is the groom and I am his bride. To turn away from him is unthinkable; to fall in love with anything else would be so foolish, when he is all I ever wanted, all I ever needed. He is my first Love, all else comes second to him.

Deceit, a characteristic of 2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Let all of creation Testify

Shall we worship the creation or the creator? 

Reading those chapters in Job, to me that is what came across.  Not for us to seek after the creation but to seek after the one who created it for the answers. All of creation testifys of our Might Lord.  All of it is his handy work.  But to worship the moon or the sun or the earth, or the elements,that is NOt what that chapters said at all. God Reveals Himself threw creation but doesnt expect us to worship the creation.

When we turn to anything other than God for answers or Power, we are rejecting him.  This is how I exsplained it to my children when the whole magic issue came up.When we do not depend on God we are depending on the Enemy. And as Christians we do not have to do that, for God has told us what ever we need he will provide, we do not need to rely on magic or anything else, to do so would be like telling God we do not belive him or what he has promised us.  The thing about Harry Potter is, as some think weed is the gateway drug, well Harry Potter is like the gateway book for the acult.

And more over I have no fear of those who talk with the dead or read tarro cards or draw power from other sources.  All I have to do is cast them out In Jesus Name, and the demons shall flee.  If those in Salm was as confident they had real demons among them that is all they should of done.  As we see with that fool Pelphs, anyone can twist scripture and turn it into what God has not intended.
