Update on Sophia.. Praise God!

I thank you all for your concern and prayers over Sophia and offers of advice.  Saturday I did call Walgreens Pharmacist to see if he could suggest anything.. and they were not very helpful at all.  He said if it was pink eye she would need an anti-biotic for sure. I called the doctor's office which of course was closed because it was a Saturday. I didn't want to call their exchanges number since it wasn't a dire emergency. So I PRAYED over Sophia and asked IN JESUS NAME to heal her of what ever was wrong with her eyes and asked a few other online friends to keep her in  prayers as well.

By the end of the day her eye was pretty much cleared up.. just a little pink still.  I kept praying but had it in the back of my head that if her eye still had ANY signs of pink we would stay home from church Sunday.  I really hate to miss church and since our van is out of commission I had to asked a friend to go out of their way to pick us up.  When we got up this morning she seemed to be completely fine and no signs of infection what so ever!

The whites of her eyes are clear as can be and no leakage or goo.  She is not rubbing at them or has any complaint that they are bothering her.  I don't know about you all.. but it seems to me she is HEALED! AMEN.

Praise God!  Thank you Lord!

  4. Well han I guess it definitly wasn't pink eye because praying can't get rid of a bacteria in your body.  It must have just been a simple cold, a virus that needed to run its course and leave through her eyes.  Glad she is feeling better.

  5. I can't say 100% if it was pink eye or not but if you read the previous entry about the situation.. and her symptoms http://journals.aol.com/hunybea4him/HunybeasOpenJournal/entries/1298  you would see that it pointed to pink eye.  Plus (maybe next time I wil take pics) if you saw her in person and had been here you would of thought it was pink eye also.  I have seen pink eye in my children before and it sure did looked like it.  Either way I am choosing to be thankful and Praise God because I know he touched her.

Normaly I would of taken her to the doctors and I am in no way suggesting to anyone not to do the same.  But I do believe in the power of Prayer and that God is the same yesterday, today and forever, and he still heals people today as he did in the Bible.
