OHHHH Yeah!  I know.. shameless self-promotion.  But! It is always a cool thing to be featured anywhere in the AOL Communities.  A good ego boost I think.  Ya, come on, stroke it, make me feel loved!  Tell me how awesome I am lol JK.

I got noticed for my rant I put out there after reading the last installment of Stephen King's Dark Tower Series. (Holding my breath till Monday when book VII comes out) And they threw in a mentition of my review of The Lovely Bones.

Somewhat embarrassing now that I read that rant about King.  I need to go back and do major editing, all the grammatical errors would probably make Pat cringe lol.  And reading that post some may get the wrong idea that I hate Mr. King.  Really I LOVE HIM!  I was just soooooo mad about the ending of that book.  Stephen if you are reading this.. I LOVE YOU.. YOU ARE AWESOME, DON'T RETIRE! LMBO.

I have to give a shout out to the B2B journal group!  I asked for help on how to take a webshot pic to put in for this entry and I got many speedy replies on how to do it!  If you have a J~ this is the group to be in!  Not, it's not clickish at all!  There are many awesome friends there and all those who have a journal are welcome! The weekly chats are a hoot too!

I have to thank my husband for putting up with my obsession with my journal and journal friends.  I am always telling him of the antics going on here in J~Land and he so tries not to roll his eyes and laugh at me.  NO, he will NOT start one of his own, no matter how much I ask him too and tell him how cool it is. He doesn't consider himself much of a writer I guess, but I told him it is not so much for those who are writers but just a way to communicate and put your own thoughts and feelings out there.  Still no nibbles..

And Most Importantly I want to thank my MOTHER!  She is the one who instilled in me this love for reading.  Guess what book she read to me to get me hooked?????  A Stephen King collection of short stories called Skeleton Crew.  The Mist got my mind racing and I fell in love with Horror and with Mr. King.  Yes, my mother must have been twisted to read me scary stories like that, but look where it took me!  I LOVE YOU MOM!  See, I told you, You was my mother for a reason, despite all the mistakes you think you may have made.  Now hurry up MOM and finish reading that book so we can chat about it! Slow poke.
