THE DEBATE LASTNIGHT

Was I the only one who found it histaricaly funny??????? humm must be me on something then lol. jk

I wasn't going to do a political entry but I did write some notes down after I watched it just in case I felt like saying anything.  The debates was held here in Saint Louis so I had to at least say something about that lol.  That may of played a bit in why traffic was sooo bad yesterday when I was out.  At one point I had an NBC News SUV hot on my butt.  As if the 70mph I was doing was not fast enough!  I had joked with Josh this week that I wanted to go down to WASHU to join the protesters, how much fun would that be.. I WANT TO BE ARESTED FOR PROTESTING!!! How cool a story that would be huh! LOL Josh said no way and besides he would not have the money to bound me out. NO?  You don't think our friends would chip in to get me out becaue I was politicaly supressed??? LOL I KNOW HIS LIBRAL WEENIE FAMILY WOULDN'T BUT OUR FRIENDS? THEY WOULD I AM SURE LOL. Ohh and just some trivia for you.. My husband's painting company that he works for was the ones who did all the painting needed at the university to get ready for the debates.  Josh said the last one they held for the governer debate our friend Chris was walking out and finished just as the canidates was about to take the stage.  Too funny.  Why didn't they put you on that one honey? You could of got me some good pics... he rolls his eyes at me knowing full well they would not allow cameras anywhere near the joint. Well mabye in 4yrs at the next Pres. Debates I will get to do all that lol. But I am thinking by then I am not going to care and it won't matter.

Was I the only one thinking how funny it would be if Bush would of just jumped out of his seat (you know he wanted to) and slugged the crap out of Kerry??? Honestly they looked like they was about to fight to me lol how they could muster up the composer to shake hands is beyond me. They was yelling thier responces to each other not debating. What I found funny was how it was the same old same old answers from the last debate, and how they didn't even answer the questions, or they would respond to a question but say "BUT before I answer or respond to that let me go back to the previous comments or question..." And say essentaily the same thing.  What this debate reminded me of was that movie The 8Mile and the face off rap contest.  I was waiting for some one to throw down thier mic and beat on thier chest! 

I was also wondering who color cordinated the ties?  They wore the wrong ones I thought.. it would of been better if Kerry wore the blue one since isnt that traditionaly the Dem. Color and Bush the red one for the Rep??? LOL I know I am silly.

I was surprised that Abortion and stem cell research came up.  I thought I heard somewhere those topcis would be off limits lol.  But supositdly these are all questions given from the audance but you know the MAN gets to pick what ones of those to ask lol.

I do want to get a bit serous here for a min. and talk about the answers both Kerry and Bush gave to the question posed about stem cell research and about abortion.  You know abortion is one of my big issues.

I was shocked that they let the question about fetal and adult stemcell reasearch slip in there and as usaly no direct answer was given I think.  The question was since only Adult Stem Cells have been proven to work and NONE have been used to sucsefully treat anything with the featal stem cells, shouldnt it be wise to fund the adult stem cell research more and put aside the featl one that destroeys life.  Kerry looked confused at the differances and all he did was say he knew ppl who suffered and wanted to help find a cure for them, to go with science not legislate morality, that his personal beliefs should not get in the way of the will of the ppl. Did you hear that folks???? Like anything else he flip flops on the topic of abortion, where with Bush I KNOW where he stands on it. And Bush shares my postion that Abortion is wrong. BTW it is not like there is not research being done on fetal stemcell, it is just not funded by the goverment, so if you are in a tissy about this issue, take your own money and donate it to those orginazations who do this human resarch, just some find animal testing wrong, I find testing on human life and estroying it wrong.  Also that answer to the question about publicly funding Abortion was not answered either by Kerry. Oh he said he was moraly agenst it but that just because he felt that way he couldn't force that on others.  My view is I should not have to fund something out of my money that I find repulsive!! If some one wants to get an abortion, fine while it is still leagel to do so, BUT DONT ASK ME TO PAY FOR IT! Or ask me to pay for some one over in Africa to have an abortion, whould you want to fund slavery in other parts of the world? You find that moraly wrong dont you?!

Let's go with this topic of Legislating morality for a moment.. WE ALL READY DO! Murder is murder, and if you go out and murder someone, even if you think it is right and your choice to do so, you will get prossicuted for it.  We don't let parents murder thier children and the elderly or have that opption if the child or person in thier life has become inconvinont.  It is moraly wrong to rape someone and it is also illigael.  We already have legislation that puts morality on ppl, that line about not doing it for abortion is just an excuse and bull crap.

Also let's talk a monent about partial birth abortion..  NO way in this day and age of medical advances is this form of abrotion nessisary for medical reasons.  For the life of the mother or the child.. C-cetions work just as well as pulling a baby that is almost full term in development out of the womem's womb feet first to the point where the head is, and then jab an instermint into the baby's head and suck out it's brains so it will be fully delivered dead.  If anything it is more dangrous to the women. The differance is the child is delivered dead and the other proceger the child is delivered alive.

And one last thing and then I am done talking about political issues and the debates last night.  Kerry again showed his favor for the UN and that is sooo scarry to me.  He said he would never give over secerity sovernty over to any nation or the UN... what ever.. what is that called passing the world test?  And also what about eviermental soverintry and economic sovernty, and soverinty over our standard of living???  He would of signed the Keoto Treaty, not fixed the minor bumps in it as he called them.  Do you know what that treaty would of done to us here in the US?? Just what the rest of the world wants.. bring us down to thier level of standard of living, not raised it. If you like living like ppl do in 3rd world countires.. sheeshh..  The World wants a levelplaying feild, they hate that we are blessed in so many ways and they are behind us.  You want to pay the same prices as they do over in the EU, witch is like 3 dollars more than we do?  You want our bussness to pay you less and less because they have these tight santions on them?

And that is another thing.. What isthis pinning us agenst each other? The workers vs the employers?  Last I looked we all are Americans.  Not one class should be more special than any other class.  There has got to be a solutoin to this tax system not just saying only taxing the rich (who by the way pay your saliers) or just taxing the working ppl either who pay into this econemy.  I am not for socialism where we are all the same class and all the same level in pay and all our probs are taken care of because we are equall..bla bla bla.  You know ppl who make more than me.. they have more education, they work just as much as I do for what they got, I am not jelous.  This is America.. WE ALL HAVE THE OPPERTUNITY to one day make $200,000 if we aspire to do it!  Don't hate ppl because they are better off than you and make more money than you do, get off your toshie if you want what they have, dont try and take it from them and bring them down.

Yes I am one who thinks it is my money, let me decide how to spend it and I think the same for those who make more than my husband.  But if you listion to Kerry you would think he is Robin Hood or something taking from the Rich and giving it to the poor.  As much as I like that story about Robin Hood, I still belive stealing is wrong.
