Guess Who is going to the concert!!!!!

MEEEEEEEEE!!!! oh ya.. and my kids and husband.

                                                   

 

NO, I did not win tickets this morning like I had wanted to.  But yesterday I wrote a e-mail to the show host that was giving them away and told him of my woes and how I could not get threw and that when I did we was disconnected and sent him a link to the voice entry my kids did on here.

THANKS MOM! for encourage me to send that e-mail.  I am such a chicken and would have never done that lol without her prompting.

Today I got a e-mail back from Cornbread saying he left 4 tickets up front at the station for us and that he hopes its not too late for us to pick them up and he wants the kids to sing in the CB Choir (they are going to say the pelage).

Can you see me jumping up and down here!!!!!

This is a huge Blessing for our family!!  We really wanted to go to this concert but knew we could not afford it.  I was sooo tempted to buy tickets for it anyways but resisted.

*sigh* But ofcourse even blessings are not always that simple and easy.  I do NOT want to complain and sound ungrateful.. But we have 4 kids and 2 adults in our family ... you do the math ... and you will see my prob.  Josh said I should call the station and request more tickets.. NO WAY! That would be rude I think.  So we dug down deep and bought two extra tickets online.

 Another dilemma was how to pick up the tickets and how to get to the concert.

Josh had a big camping training trip planed for this weekend with the Boy Scouts.  He is a leader in training.  He was going to leave as soon as he got off work this morning (this was one of the reasons I did not try again and call in to win this morning). He will be home in time to come with us to the concert tomorrow night.  I called the radio station to see if my husband could pick up the tickets instead of me, but the lady said only if he had a copy of my ID.  Well, shoot.. I just happen NOT to leave my purse in the van.. something I have gotten in the habit of doing.  But we worked it out.. Josh is going to come home and pick up my ID and then gooo all the way back over to the radio station and get the tickets and then be on his way out of town.

                                  UPDATE

Josh went and got the "tickets" and he said they are voutchers for lawn seats, subject to avaliblity.... awwwwwww but he was able to get two more so we could all go together.  So I cancelled the order I had with ticket master and my refund he said could take up to 5 working days to be credited to my account.  awwww. LOL but the bright side.. maybe we can take what we would of spent on the tix and get a T-Shirt!?
